...And Not Just That One Blurry One Your Friend Took from the Back Row
Okay, so you just crushed your talk. The crowd laughed, clapped, maybe cried like babies. You stepped into your power, shared your magic, and boom—it was one of those “yo! I was made for this” moments.
And then someone sends you the one photo they took…Fraaack. Your husband didn’t do much better and his huge thumb made an appearance in over half the vidoes. This is the tipping point and divorce papers are about to be served.
You’re half-blinking. The mic is in front of your mouth in every pic. The lighting makes it look like you’re giving a TED Talk from a haunted old motel 6.
You can do better.

Flashback: Our First Take the Stage Shoot
When I hosted the very first Take the Stage photo day back in June, I had a feeling it would be fun. What I didn’t expect? That it would feel like a mini-retreat for the soul and that I would leave with so many new friends.
Six incredible Okanagan entrepreneurs showed up—some nervous, some excited, all absolutely magnetic in their own ways. We laughed so hard. Everyone was so supportive. We got dynamic images and video, and somewhere between snapping shots and sipping sparkling water, we became friends.
What started as a “get some great photos” day turned into something way more powerful: a space to connect, to be seen, and to celebrate each other’s work and energy. I left buzzing with joy—and with a camera roll full of images that actually captured my new friend’s brilliant and energy.
Why This Kind of Imagery Matters
You’re out here pouring your heart into the world—whether that’s on stage, at retreats, leading workshops, or firing people up in a boardroom. That deserves more than a few underexposed phone shots and a cropped screenshot from Zoom.
High-quality speaking images help tell the story you’re already living: bold, joyful, grounded, dynamic, deeply you.
This is about visibility. Impact. Confidence.
And yes—it’s about having fun while you’re at it. I live for joy in allll the moment and photoshoots are no exception. I laugh and play hard.
A Vibe, Not Just a Photoshoot
Let’s be real: photo shoots don’t always sound like a good time. But Take the Stage is not that kind of shoot.
It’s music playing, people clapping for you, lights that flatter you, and a team that hypes you up while you speak, move, laugh, or strike that power pose.
You’ll leave with incredible content and the joy of meeting people who get what you’re all about.
Mark Your Calendar: September 18
I’m running another Take the Stage speaker photo day on Wednesday, September 18, and you’re officially invited.
This mini-shoot is for speakers, coaches, creatives, entrepreneurs—anyone who uses their voice and wants to be seen in their full expression.
You’ll walk away with scroll-stopping stills
Short-form video clips to use on social or your website
And at least six new contacts who might just become friends
